The new film, scheduled for release in 2019, is being described as a sequel to T2: Judgment Day, and will reunite Cameron, Schwarzenegger, and Linda Hamilton for the first time since that movie. While there have been a few other Terminator movies since T2, they never lived up to the standard set by the first two, so fans are excited to see Cameron and the original stars working together again. Schwarzenegger believes there’s still a huge market for the franchise, and he thinks it has a lot to do with his character’s unique place in movie history.
