      If reports are to be believed, Audi India is mulling to bring in the 2012 version of the A5 sedan into the Indian market soon. The model will be positioned between the A4 and the A6 sedan in the company’s portfolio for India. In the international markets, the A5 is available in three body forms: the cabriolet, coupe and the sportback.

Which ones will make it to the Indian market however, remains unknown at this point.


Audi A5 Variants

    The A5 sedan will be offered in both diesel and petrol engine options and the said engines will come mated to Audi’s automatic transmission. The range-topping petrol variant will also feature Audi’s famed Quattro all-wheel drive system. The petrol variants could be powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI engine developing 180PS of max power and 320Nm of peak torque or a 1.8-litre TFSI unit that is rated at 160PS and 250Nm.
