Rice





If you love rice and can't seem to do without it, opt for brown rice as it is much healthier than white. When a diabetic chooses to eat white rice, the insulin level increases due to the high amount of white flour present in the rice.


Coffee





Blended coffees that are laced with syrup, sugar, whipped cream are another healthy food diabetics should stay away from. Having a cup of hot black coffee sans sugar is a better option.


Bananas





Some fruits like banana are naturally high in sugar content which might affect the insulin levels of a diabetic. This is one of the many foods a diabetic must avoid at any cost.


Chinese Foods




High-calorie, high fat, high-sodium, and high-carb Chinese food dishes can spike blood sugar. Consuming chinese food once in a way is okay but not on a regular basis.

Aerated drinks should be completely avoided if you want to live a healthy lifestyle. These drinks are spiked with a lot of sugar which is not healthy for diabetics.
