The Anna university exam time table was published in October 2014. Exam was conducted in the month of November December 2014. With more than half a million students attended the exam, there were more number of failures than those have passed. This was nothing new. Last year also the pass percentage is also nearly 38%. Only little difference among Anna university 1st sem results, Anna university 3rd sem results, 5th sem, 7th semester results. Also with the introduction of the new revaluation procedure, the students getting passed in the revaluation also getting decreased. The exact figures of those who have passed was not published yet by COE. The reason for this low pass percentage must be found and ways to solve this issue should be found.
If anyone is confident that they were not awarded the marks they deserve, you can apply for revaluation. Take out the question paper, estimate the grade. If there were difference of 2 grades, then you go ahead for revaluation.

Anna university Revaluation Procedure
With the Anna university BE results and PG results announced, many are waiting to apply for revaluation of the answer scripts.
Can we apply revaluation for Practical exams ?
Only for theory papers revaluation can be applied. For practicals and internal marks revaluation is not possible.
For how many subjects can I apply?
Only for maximum of 5 subjects.
What is the Revaluation Fee ?
Rs.300/paper - for Photocopy.
After few days you will get your xerox copy of answer sheet. Get it evaluated by your faculty and if you want to apply for revaluation, you have to pay Rs.400/-
Where to apply ?
You can apply in your college itself. Contact your HOD / Principal for details
When will I get the photocopy ?
Usually it may take 2 - 3 weeks

After you apply for revaluation, paper will go for correction. If the grade obtained in the second evaluation is more than the grade you got, then you will get the change in your result. Else you will get No Change.
